The Shropshire ME Group (The Group) is subject to the EU General Data Protection Regulation and as such: By completing Application Form or Annual Renewal Form, you have given consent for the Group to store the information for the purposes of servicing your membership. Only the information provided on the Application Form and recorded on the Annual Renewal Form is stored and only for this purpose. If you do not want specific information to be stored you may: Omit it from the Application Form, ask the Membership Secretary to delete information previously supplied by striking it through on the Annual Renewal From when renewing your subscription or request in writing that information be deleted at any time. The information is stored as: Paper documents, by means of the Application Form, Gift Aid Form and Annual Renewal Form, in a secure location and; Digital information on a password protected database. When you leave the Group, your data will be deleted and no longer stored, unless you have signed the Gift Aid Form, in which case this will be stored in a secure location for the period required by HM Revenue and Customs. The information is not given to another third party for any reason, apart from the names and addresses of those members who receive the Newsletter or other information about forthcoming events by post, which are provided to The Roy Fletcher Centre in Shrewsbury, specifically for this purpose. The Roy Fletcher Centre is also subject to the above Regulations and does not retain the information once the mailing has been fulfilled.
